The family of a 13 year old boy who had two transfusions of blood products at a Boston hospital that were not properly treated, and who then became gravely ill and died because of the improper medical care.  The case settled for $500,000. 

The family of a man in his late 20's who was restrained improperly by nurses and aides at a mental care facility in the Boston area, and who died during the restraint as a result.  The case settled for $500,000.

The family of a man in his early 40's with a wife and two small children, who was bitten by a tick on Cape Cod, became very ill from it, and was then mistreated at a local hospital and died because of it.  The case was tried and resulted in a jury verdict of $2,476,000. 

A man in his 50's who tripped and fell over some construction debris that was left at his workplace in Boston, and then had surgery on his shoulder and stopped working as a result.  The case settled for $230,000. 

A woman in her 40's who was bitten by a dog in Boston and had a blood infection as a result.  The case settled for $120,000.

A man in his 50's who ruptured a disc in his lower back and had surgery to repair it, when he fell in his room at a motel south of Boston while trying to stop the manager from entering it at midnight.  The case settled for $675,000.  

A man in his 50's who fell at a construction site while working in Boston, and hurt his shoulder.  The case settled during trial for $410,000.

A man in his 20's who leaned against an unsecured utility pole in a town just outside of Boston, causing it to fall down and land in the road on his outstretched hand, injuring it severely.  The case settled for $400,000.

A woman in her 20's who was crossing the street and was hit by a car in a town west of Boston, resulting in her having to undergo knee surgery.  The case was arbitrated and resulted in an award of $175,000.
